DENVER (KDVR) — Multiple people were hurt in a crash on Interstate 25 early Sunday morning.
South Metro Fire Rescue first reported the crash in a post on X just after 3 a.m. The agency said there was a crash involving multiple vehicles and multiple patients.
In an update, SMFR said two people were taken to local hospitals. Authorities did not share the status of their injuries.
Interstate 25 was closed near Orchard Road while Colorado State Patrol and Greenwood Village Police were on the scene. The road reopened around 6:30 a.m.
The police department is investigating the incident.
