DENVER (KDVR) — South Metro Fire Rescue and the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office responded to a fuel spill in Centennial Thursday morning.
SMFR said its hazmat team responded to the incident at 12001 E. Caley Ave at around 10:30 a.m. after the saddle tank on a semi-truck sustained damage and began leaking fuel.
The spill was contained to a parking lot, according to the agency, which said at 11:08 a.m. that firefighters were working to mitigate the hazard.
