DENVER (KDVR) — Grand County law enforcement is asking the public to be on the lookout for a burglary suspect in the Winter Park Highlands neighborhood.
The Grand County Sheriff’s Office posted to Facebook at 6:34 p.m. to report the BOLO. The agency said that deputies were working on a burglary that occurred Friday afternoon in the Winter Park Highlands neighborhood, which is a northern Tabernash community.
Deputies are in the area trying to locate the suspect, who is still believed to be in the area.
“Be vigilant and use precaution by ensuring that your home and vehicles are locked. Deputies will be highly visible as they continue searching the area,” the Grand County Sheriff’s Office said.
The suspect is described as a white male who is 6 feet, 1 inch tall and has a thin build. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and gray sweatpants, and police believe he could be associated with a White Volvo station wagon with Missouri license plates reading GK3D1J.
Anyone who sees the suspect is asked to call 911 and not approach him.
