DENVER (KDVR) — The body of a Colorado man was recovered by National Park Service rangers on Sunday after a vehicle he was driving went over the rim of Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona.
The Grand Canyon Regional Communications Center at about 12:40 p.m. on Sunday received a report of a vehicle that went over the canyon’s rim near the South Kaibab Trailhead, the National Park Service said in a press release.
Rangers recovered the body of Steven (Drew) Bradley, 27, of Federal Heights, about 300 feet below the rim with the help of a helicopter.
The National Park Service is investigating the incident along with the Coconino County Medical Examiner and provided no additional information about what happened, but it did also provide information for people struggling with suicide.
