DENVER (KDVR) — A two-vehicle crash is forcing road closures in Broomfield on Thursday morning, according to a post on X from the Broomfield Police Department.
The crash occurred near Northwest Park and 96th Street.
All westbound lanes and two eastbound lanes of Northwest Parkway are closed near 96th Street.
Traffic is being diverted onto 96th Street, and delays are expected, police said.
Police are asking drivers to take Dillion Road to avoid the area of the crash.
There is no estimate on when the road will reopen, the department said.
One person was seriously injured and was taken to a local hospital. Investigators are determining the cause of the crash.
