DENVER (KDVR) — The performers at Casa Bonita will return to work on Sunday following a three-day strike, the Actors’ Equity Association announced Saturday.
AEA said it offered an “unconditional return to work” after an agreement was reached with Casa Bonita to engage in mediation.
“We have an official agreement to engage in mediation, which presents a real opportunity for productive movement toward a contract,” said lead negotiator Andrea Hoeschen, assistant executive director and general counsel for AEA, in a statement.
The performers, which include cliff divers, magicians, puppeteers and actors, had been on strike since Oct. 30 in response to what AEA argued was Casa Bonita management’s “failure to deliver meaningful wage proposals in bargaining.”
The union has been in negotations with Casa Bonita management since April 2025.
