
DENVER (KDVR) — A man was taken to the hospital after being shot in Aurora on Saturday afternoon, according to a press release from the Aurora Police Department.
Officers responded to a “chaotic scene” in the 1500 block of Macon Street, where they discovered a man who had been shot, around 2:09 p.m. on Saturday.
Investigators believe that the suspect is an acquaintance of the victim and shot him multiple times before fleeing the area.
The victim was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police said that nobody has been arrested and the suspect’s identity is not being released at this time.
The Major Crimes Unit is conducting the investigation.
