Comedian sets new record for ticket sales at Ball Arena

DENVER (KDVR) — Ball Arena was packed to the brim this weekend with fans hoping to get a good laugh while comedian Nate Bargatze was in town.

Bargatze performed one show on Friday and two on Saturday, and made history, according to a press release from Ball Arena.

The arena said Bargatze’s show sold the most tickets for a single comedy performance at Ball Arena.

His show also resulted in the most tickets sold by a comedian in a single run of shows and generated the highest gross revenue across a run of shows by a comedian.

Bargatze was in Denver for his 2025 Big Dumb Eyes World Tour. Those who missed it can still see Bartzgate hosting the Primetime Emmy Awards on Sept. 14. Additionally, the comedian has multiple stand-up specials available to watch on YouTube and Netflix.

He also set several records through performances last year, including 20 total arena records. He is currently the No. 1 earning comedian in the world, according to a recent Pollstar report, and No. 12 in overall live tour ticket sales, ranking near Coldplay, Madonna and U2.
