DENVER (KDVR) — Fire crews battled a house fire early Tuesday morning north of Berthoud.
The Berthoud Fire Protection District on Facebook Tuesday morning posted photos of firefighters working on the blaze, which happened in the Heron Lakes neighborhood north of Berthoud.
Officials said a passerby reported the fire then rushed to notify the people in the house of the fire.
Everyone in the home made it out safely, officials said.
The fire was in the attic of the house, and crews worked to contain it there and protect exposures.
SkyFOX flew over the scene Tuesday morning and could see the house’s roof heavily damaged and some smoke still coming from the burned area.
