DENVER (KDVR) — The University of Colorado Boulder Buffs football team had a bounce-back win in their game against Wyoming last Saturday.
After losing against the University of Houston, 20-36, in week three, the Buffs were able to throw a similar score at Wyoming, winning, 37-20.
The win also brought the Buffs back to .500 on the season, and ahead of their game on Saturday, they will look to get some revenge on the team that handed them a loss in the final game of last season.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Buffs’ fifth game of the season.
How to watch CU vs. BYU
The Buffs are in their second game of a back-to-back home stand, but for fans who won’t be attending the game at Folsom Field, here is how to watch the game on TV.
- Kickoff: 8:15 p.m. MT.
- Channel: ESPN, Fubo, Sling TV
Kickoff between the Buffs and BYU starts at 8:15 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27.
Tickets for CU vs. BYU
If you want to see the Buffs in person one more time before they take off for a road game next week, you’re in luck. Tickets are still available.
Ticketmaster has tickets available starting at $84.68 as of Wednesday. SeatGeek has tickets going for almost exactly the same, with tickets starting at $85.
Forecast for CU vs. BYU
Folsom Field isn’t expecting some of that Colorado September snow that poured down in the last couple of days, but it still is going to be a bit chillier than the weather has been.

Bring something to warm up with because sometimes those early exposures to decreasing temperatures and a slight breeze can get your teeth chattering before you know it.
Key things to know for CU vs. BYU
Evenly matched
Last year, both CU and BYU shared nearly the same exact fate. They were stuck in a four-way tie with Iowa State and Arizona State to see who would play in the Big 12 Championship game. Every team was tied at 7-2 in conference play, with CU and BYU taking that even further, posting the same home record, 4-1, and away record, 3-1, as each other.
CU and BYU ended up on the wrong side of the tiebreaker that saw Iowa State and Arizona State move on.
In the disappointing aftermath for both teams, CU and BYU would end up playing each other at the Alamo Bowl, where — sorry CU fans — BYU blew out the Buffs, 36-14.
Salter secures starting spot
After a temporary relegation to the bench against Houston, Kaidon Salter seems to have locked down the starter spot again and solidified Coach Prime’s decision with a dominant performance against Wyoming.
He led the Buffs in passing yards and rushing yards.
Salter went 18/28 for a total of 304 passing yards, which was also the game’s highest mark. He threw three touchdown passes. On the ground, he was just as impressive, running for 86 yards in 11 carries and scoring one rushing touchdown, which brought his game total to four touchdowns.
Be Bear Aware
It’s one of Colorado Parks and Wildlife’s favorite pieces of advice for residents who live in areas near bears. On Saturday, CU might also want to practice the philosophy to stop BYU’s star, true freshman quarterback Bear Bachmeier, who is on fire to start the season.
He has helped lead BYU to a perfect 3-0 start so far.
In the first three games of his collegiate career, Bachmeier has thrown for 518 yards, including four touchdown passes and zero picks, with a passer rating of 156.7. He has also shown off his footwork, rushing for 65 yards and four rushing touchdowns.
