DENVER (KDVR) — Denver metro area says goodbye to October and hello to November this weekend, but the Denver weather forecast certainly is not going to feel like it with unseasonably warm temperatures expected for the first week of the month.

It’ll be decent football weather in Boulder as the Buffs host Arizona. Temperatures will steadily fall through the 50s during the game with winds likely picking up once the game is over.
Weather tonight: Quiet and cold

Expect clear skies across the state overnight Friday. Temperatures will fall into the 20s for most locations, though some areas in the mountains will dip into the teens. Winds will be light so any wind chills will be minor
Weather tomorrow: Warming up

There will be lots of sunshine across the state Saturday. Temperatures rebound into the upper 50s and low 60s with a light and variable wind, though winds may pick up some overnight Saturday.
Looking ahead: Not feeling like November
Don’t forget, Colorado falls back one hour Saturday night! Although the days continue to get shorter, Sunday will feel much more like spring than autumn. Afternoon highs top out well into the 70s, actually near record highs for Denver (record is 78 degrees set in 2008).

Denver metro will briefly cool back into the low 60s Monday with breezier conditions, but 70s return for Tuesday and Wednesday. Don’t expect any fall air any time soon; highs through next weekend will stay consistently mild in the middle 60s. That said, there are signs the northern mountains might see light snow next Thursday.
