Weather tonight:
A few showers will continue in the mountains Sunday night, while the metro just sees a few passing clouds. Low temperatures will fall to the lower 50s, which is warmer than normal for this time of year.

Weather tomorrow: Mild, afternoon rain chance
Monday will start with sunshine, then clouds will increase as high temperatures climb to the upper 70s ahead of a few showers and thunderstorms.

The chance for showers and thunderstorms will increase as fans head through tailgating and toward the kickoff of Monday Night Football. The chance for showers will taper off through the evening as temperatures cool to the 60s through the Broncos game.

Looking ahead: Sunshine, warming trend
Tuesday, there is a chance for a few showers. Mostly continues in the high country, while lower elevations are on track to just see a few more clouds and warmer than normal temperatures in the upper 70s.

Sunshine takes charge of the second half of the workweek and will help fuel a warming trend. High temperatures will climb to the lower 80s for the first few days of October, which is about 10 degrees warmer than normal for this time of year. Temperatures will drop to more seasonal levels in the 70s by the weekend, alongside the chance for a few showers Saturday.
