DENVER (KDVR) — Wet weather and cooler temperatures move into Denver’s weather forecast Sunday night into the start of the workweek.
Weather tonight: Showers, seasonally cool
Rain showers will continue Sunday night as low temperatures fall to the 40s, which is right in line with normal for this time of year.

As temperatures drop in higher elevations, rain will mix with snow in areas above 8500 feet.
Weather tomorrow: More showers, cooler
By Monday morning, there could be a light dusting to a couple of inches of snowfall in the mountains.

Then, clouds will linger alongside a few showers in the metro. Temperatures will be even cooler than today, and only reach the mid-50s, which is about 15 degrees cooler than normal for this time of year.


Looking ahead: Sunshine, warming trend
Sunshine and a warming trend return to the forecast on Tuesday. High temperatures will climb to the mid-60s, which is still about 5 degrees above normal for this time of year.

Sunshine will aid in warming temperatures to the mid to upper 70s Wednesday through Friday, which is about 10 degrees above normal. Warmer-than-normal conditions will continue into the weekend with early morning lows in the 50s and highs climbing into the 70s.
