Denver weather: Cooler Monday with a breeze


DENVER (KDVR) — Denver recorded a high of 83 degrees on Sunday, which is 25 degrees above normal for this time of year and broke the previous record November high of 78 degrees set in 2008. While cooler air prevails Monday, Denver is expecting a return to the 70s by Tuesday.

Weather today: Partly cloudy skies with a breeze

Partly cloudy skies dominate the forecast Monday as highs max out in the upper 50s and lower 60s.

It will be a little breezy at times with winds out of the west anywhere from 5-10 mph, along with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Weather tonight: Clear skies and cool

Mostly clear skies move back into the forecast Monday evening; overnight lows will drop into the upper 30s and lower 40s. Winds will be out of the south anywhere from 5-10 mph.

Looking ahead: Sunny & warmer midweek

Sunny and warmer weather settles in for the middle of the workweek. High temperatures on Tuesday will reach the low to mid-70s, which is just a few degrees below the daily record of 77 degrees set in 2020. Then, a slight cooling trend will settle in for the end of the week with highs on Wednesday reaching 70 degrees, then mid-60s Thursday and Friday as a weak system moves into the north.

Sunshine continues into the weekend with cooler, more seasonal temperatures around 60 degrees.
