DENVER (KDVR) — As August draws to a close, the Denver weather forecast will also be seeing an end of the rainy pattern we had for much of the last week. Although the forecast will be drier, there are still some rain chances in the first week of September. The Labor Day holiday is also looking very nice.
Weather tonight: Drying out

Any showers or storms from the daytime hours Saturday will be ending in the first part of the night Saturday. Skies will gradually clear and winds will be light. Lows around metro Denver fall into the lower and middle 50s. Some of the mountain valleys may wake up Sunday morning to lows in the 30s.
Weather tomorrow: Sunny and pleasantly warm

Sunday will have almost total sunshine across the state. No rain is expected. Temperatures will be a touch warmer with highs around 80 degrees, but that’s still running a bit below normal for the final day of August. Winds will start from the west but turn northerly with an occasional afternoon gust around 20 miles per hour.
Looking ahead: Quieter weather starts September
Labor Day is the unofficial end of summer, but we’ll have very pleasant weather for the holiday Monday. Temperatures will be in the lower 80s with sunny skies and a northerly breeze. Tuesday may be the warmest day of the week. We may see a stray shower or storm Tuesday and Wednesday.

Rain chances are low for the remainder of the week into next weekend. Expect mostly sunny skies Thursday and Friday. Showers may return to the area Friday and Saturday, with Saturday currently looking like the best chance. Temperatures will be warmer next weekend with highs near seasonal values in the low and middle 80s.
