DENVER (KDVR) — Scattered showers will be around overnight Saturday, but the Denver weather forecast for Sunday and next week features sunnier and drier conditions.
Weather tonight: Scattered showers

Skies will be mostly cloudy to overcast overnight Saturday with spotty showers. An isolated rumble of thunder may be heard, but most likely just rain. Temperatures will be seasonally cool in the low 50 around metro Denver.
The high country will be much cooler with some areas falling into the middle 30s. Rain showers will also persist in the mountains, but it will be cold enough for some snow to mix in as well.
Weather tomorrow: Turning sunny

Sunday begins with mostly cloudy skies and a few light showers sticking around. Clouds are forecast to move out of the area through the afternoon leaving us with mostly sunny conditions. Temperatures will depend on how quickly clouds clear, but highs below normal in the middle 70s are expected.
Looking ahead: Quiet weather next week
The extended forecast is looking relatively uneventful. Monday brings a lot of sunshine and temperatures spike into the middle 80s with a light south breeze. Tuesday will be mostly sunny, but cooler, with highs in the upper 70s. Some late evening and overnight showers will be possible Tuesday, but the forecast has trended drier.

It will stay in the 70s Wednesday and Thursday with sunny skies expected. It will briefly return to the low 80s Friday before hovering near 80 degrees through next weekend. For now, next weekend looks dry.
