DENVER (KDVR) – Denver continues to have scattered showers and storms as the workweek finishes off heading into the weekend.
Weather today: Scattered showers/storms
Rain lingers over the high country for the rest of the day with some showers and storms pushing over the foothills to the Interstate 25 corridor.
There is a flood watch for the western half of the state as they can see flooding through Friday night. If flooding occurs, a warning will be issued by the National Weather Service.

There will be extra clouds across the state, but the plains could see some sunshine. Highs Thursday are still warm in the upper 80s.

Weather tonight: Cloudy skies, showers
Clouds linger overnight with showers staying in the mountains. Low temperatures Thursday night will dip into the upper 50s, keeping the metro area above average.

Looking ahead: More rain, but nicer Sunday
Friday rounds out the workweek with more rain and clouds in the forecast. Temperatures on Friday afternoon will make it to the lower 80s with a light breeze building in.
Rain continues into Saturday as this system begins to finally move out of the state. Highs Saturday will be comfy in the upper 70s as scattered showers and storms linger with cloudy skies.

Sunday will be much nicer and feels a bit more like Fall. There is more sunshine on Sunday afternoon as highs reach the upper 70s. Monday is a little warmer as highs hit the middle 80s and we are back to mainly sunny skies.
Tuesday stays in the lower 80s with a mix of sun and clouds. Wednesday has partly cloudy skies with seasonal highs in the lower 80s.
