DENVER (KDVR) — Denver’s weather features plenty of sunshine and lots of comfortable days ahead of us. We could see some isolated storms by the middle of the week but overall this week is looking dry and comfortable.
Weather today: Pleasant and warm
Sunday will have almost total sunshine across the state. No rain is expected. Temperatures will be a touch warmer with highs around 80 degrees, but that’s still running a bit below normal for the final day of August. Winds will start from the west but turn northerly with an occasional afternoon gust around 20 miles per hour.

Weather tonight: Clear skies
Mostly clear skies dominate the front range tonight with overnight lows dropping into the middle 50s. Winds will be out of the north and east anywhere from 5-15 mph, but look for the winds to calm down by early tomorrow morning.

Looking ahead: Quieter weather starts September
Labor Day is the unofficial end of summer, but we’ll have very pleasant weather for the holiday Monday. Temperatures will be in the lower 80s with sunny skies and a northerly breeze. Tuesday may be the warmest day of the week. We may see a stray shower or storm Tuesday and Wednesday.

Rain chances are low for the remainder of the week into next weekend. Expect mostly sunny skies Thursday and Friday. Showers may return to the area Friday and Saturday, with Saturday currently looking like the best chance. Temperatures will be warmer next weekend with highs near seasonal values in the low and middle 80s.
