Denver weather: Warm Friday on tap with breezy conditions this weekend

DENVER (KDVR) — The Denver weather forecast includes unseasonably warm temperatures Friday, with highs climbing into the low 80s when we should be in the middle 70s here at the end of September.

Breezy conditions settle in over the weekend, while it stays warm with lots of sunshine on Saturday. Some clouds enter the sky by Sunday, and that’ll bring the small chance for a shower in the Denver metro area.

Weather today: Warm and Sunny

Temperatures will be on the warm side Friday, with highs in the lower 80s. Plenty of sunshine is expected, with just some high wispy clouds drifting through during the afternoon.

Weather tonight: Clear and Comfy

Overnight lows are running above average as well, with temperatures dropping down to around 50 degrees for early Saturday morning.

Looking Ahead: Quiet and Warm

While some spotty showers will be confined to the high country over the weekend, it should stay dry in the Denver metro. There is a 10% chance one of these showers can make it off the Front Range on Sunday and Monday, so keep this in mind for the Broncos game Monday evening.

Breezy conditions are also expected over the weekend — mainly across the Plains — with gusts over 25 mph at times. Overall, a quiet pattern settles in for the long term, with highs in the upper 70s and close to 80 degrees next week with plenty of sunshine each day.
