DENVER (KDVR) — The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office has identified a driver and passenger of a pickup truck, after its passenger had allegedly thrown “objects” at vehicles in Centennial.
On a post to X, the sheriff’s office said the two separate incidents happened near East Dry Creek Road and South Clarkson Street in Centennial, where the passenger of the vehicle allegedly threw objects at moving vehicles, ultimately shattering the windshields.
FOX31 reported on the incidents and interviewed Shannon Anderson, whose windshield was shattered. She believed a cup full of rocks was thrown from a passing truck while she was driving on Dry Creek Road.
Another woman also reported the same type of crime to Arapahoe County deputies a few minutes after Anderson.
“Thankfully, we got video of the truck because again it happens so fast that you’re not always thinking of what kind of car was that, who was it,” said Anderson.
The sheriff’s office did not released the names of the driver and passenger in the pickup truck; however, the agency noted the investigation into the two separate incidents is ongoing and “any criminal charges that are deemed appropriate will be referred to the District Attorney’s Office.”
