
DENVER (KDVR) — Empower Field at Mile High Stadium is known for hosting the Denver Broncos, but next year, its already scheduling out concerts and other events at the downtown stadium.
Empower Field has hosted football games since opening in 2001, but its also hosted a handful of concerts. In 2025, the over 76,000-seat stadium hosted Metallica and Coldplay. In previous years, it has hosted huge shows like Taylor Swift, where the concert could even be seen from space.
In 2026, the stadium is going to be busy. Denver Summit is looking to make history by breaking the attendance record for professional women’s sports at the stadium, and Empower Field has already scheduled big name concerts for the summer.
2026 concerts at Empower Field
Here’s what concerts have been announced so far:
- May 29: Morgan Wallen
- May 30: Morgan Wallen
- July 4: Ed Sheeran
- July 28: AC/DC
Empower Field only hosts a few concerts each year, usually reserved for artists who draw a huge crowd. In 2025, there were less than 10 concerts at the stadium. While the football field doesn’t host too many shows, other iconic spots are also announcing concerts in 2026.
Red Rocks and Ball Arena already have several concerts scheduled out for 2026.
