John Summit works out with locals ahead of show that drew thousands to Boulder

DENVER (KDVR) — A massive concert at Folsom Field over the weekend brought thousands of people to Boulder for a show with lots of dancing, lasers and good vibes.

The concert on Saturday marked John Summit’s largest solo headlining show of his career, according to a press release earlier this year from AEG Presents. Folsom Field became a dance floor, with some 50,000 people packed in the stands and on a platform on top of the field.

But before the show, Summit got together with a group of fans for a workout. The electronic dance music producer, known for his house and techno house beats, posted on his Instagram inviting a maximum of 50 people to sign up for the workout event.

The group met on the 7th floor at Folsom Field for the HIIT workout led by local fitness trainer Kelsey Doersam.

Nathaniel Flowers told FOX31 that he was one of the extremely lucky ones who got to attend. He said it was “challenging,” but the energy was high and the views of the flatirons from the stadium were “breathtaking.”

EDM producer John Summit met with fans for a workout ahead of a massive show at the University of Colorado Boulder’s Folsom Field in October 2025.

He said he left the workout “with my legs sore and my heart full.”

After the workout, Summit stuck around and took photos with fans and even signed some autographs. Flowers said he was “all around amazing to hang out with.”

Saturday night, Summit threw down for the show at Folsom Field with support from Max Styler, Roddy Lima, B/AN/K and special guest Tchami.

At the end of the show, Summit got off stage and went dancing in the crowd for the last bit of music.

Folsom Field has big concert plans ahead. Earlier this year, Ryan Gottlieb, chief revenue officer for the athletics department at the University of Colorado Boulder, told FOX31 that Folsom Field is leaning into its legacy as one of the best live music venues in Colorado and will soon be the setting of more and more events.
