DENVER (KDVR) — This year’s Larimer County Fair Junior Livestock Sale raised more than $1 million for members of the youth development organization 4-H, the event host announced Tuesday.

The 2025 sale raised a total of $1,070,758, according to The Ranch Events Complex, which said the funds will be used to provide scholarships, livestock feed and supplies and “resources that help 4-H members build skills in agriculture, leadership, and entrepreneurship.”

“The generosity of our buyers, sponsors, and community partners continues to inspire us,” said Conor McGrath, executive director of The Ranch Events Complex, in a statement.

The Junior Livestock Sale is held annually at the Larimer County Fair in Loveland. This year’s sale was on Wednesday, Aug. 6.

A brochure for this year’s sale noted winning bidders can either choose to resell an animal, make a donation to the Food Bank of Larimer County or keep it for personal consumption.

“This year’s sale reflects the dedication of our 4-H participants and the incredible support network that surrounds them. I want to thank the Junior Livestock Sale Committee for their hard work and commitment to making this event such a success,” McGrath said.
