DENVER (KDVR) — A Korean-inspired taco joint that closed one of its two locations in August opened a new spot in Edgewater on Monday.
Wild Taco is the newest restaurant to open inside Edgewater Public Market, joining 16 other food and beverage places and replacing Carnivore Exotic Taqueria, which was a concept of one of the Wild Taco founders.
Wild Taco brings a unique menu of offerings to the table — modern Mexican flavors with a twist, inspired by co-founder Terry Yoon’s South Korean heritage.
The menu will feature most of the favorite dishes that were served at the recently closed location in Capitol Hill, such as chicken tinga, quesabirria, and chicken and waffle tacos, as well as seasonal specials and more.
Signature cocktails, beer, wine, zero proof cocktails and soft drinks are available, plus the happy hour menu features several dishes and alcohol options.
The new location will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and the restaurant plans to expand hours on the weekends for brunch and possibly late night bites. There is also a wild Taco restaurant on Tennyson Street.
