DENVER (KDVR) — A man was arrested in connection with a suspicious death in which a woman’s body was found near a dumpster in Arvada, police announced Friday.
On Monday morning, a maintenance worker at the Perch Apartments, located at 7791 W. 52nd Ave., contacted police after finding what appeared to be a human body inside a black box next to a dumpster within an enclosure.
The Arvada Police Department responded just after 8 a.m., and crime scene investigators confirmed the body was that of a 29-year-old woman.
Investigators conducted interviews and executed search warrants and identified Daniel Ryan Clark, 41, as the suspect.
Police said Clark was arrested on Thursday and booked with a $20,000 cash bond into the Jefferson County Jail on several charges, including:
- Tampering with a Deceased Human Body – Class 3 Felony
- Abuse of a Corpse – Class 6 Felony
- Tampering with Physical Evidence – Class 6 Felony
