DENVER (KDVR) — Only in his second season, Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix already finds himself in the record books alongside the names of NFL and Broncos legends, Peyton Manning and John Elway.
He still has a while to go before he can match the achievements accumulated in both of their careers, but Nix moved one step closer in the Broncos’ 44-24 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
On Sunday, Nix posted stats, including;
- 19-29 pass completions
- 247 passing yards
- 4 passing touchdowns
After throwing for four touchdown passes in the game, he tallied his third win with four touchdown passes, joining Manning and Elway as the only quarterbacks in Broncos’ history with at least three games with four touchdown passes, according to the Denver Broncos.
Other four-touchdown pass games
Week 11: Atlanta Falcons, 38-6 — Nov. 17, 2024
- 28-33 pass completions
- 307 passing yards
- 4 passing touchdowns
Week 18: Kansas City Chiefs, 38-0 — Jan. 5, 2024
- 26-29 pass completions
- 321 passing yards
- 4 touchdown passes
Over the course of the franchise’s history, over 100 quarterbacks have played for the Broncos.
Since 2015, when Manning retired, the Broncos had already utilized a total of 14 different quarterbacks before Nix came around to lock down the spot.
As a sophomore, Nix is already bumping elbows with the greats. Broncos fans can only hope he continues to bump elbows for many more years.
