Parker's Vehicle Vault listed for sale, plans to remain 'open and active' through 2026

DENVER (KDVR) — A Parker-area staple has listed its building for sale, prompting a number of concerned inquiries about whether the Vehicle Vault will be closing.

On Wednesday, the business addressed the rumors in a post on Facebook.

“As many of you have seen, the building that houses Vehicle Vault has recently been listed for sale,” the business wrote. “We want to reassure you that this does not mean an immediate end to our journey. In fact, it means that 2026 will be one of our biggest and most meaningful years yet.”

Vehicle Vault, located on Lincoln Meadows Parkway in Parker, is a museum that blends a love of automotive exploits with community and history, creating a place that features not only special vehicles, but special memories as well. The museum also played host to numerous events.

Matt Bonno, Vehicle Vault’s marketing director, told FOX31 that through 2025 and 2026, there will be “no interruption to our museum, private event hosting, or community gatherings.”

“While the official closing date is still to be determined, our focus remains on creating meaningful experiences and celebrating car culture with the community we love,” Bonno said. “We’ll continue to keep the community updated throughout next year as we know more.”

The business said on Facebook that it is planning to continue its monthly Espresso and Exhaust events, and is also planning some special celebrations, inviting the community to come out and make “new memories together.”

“This decision was not made easily,” Vehicle Vault shared on Facebook. “After much reflection, our family has chosen to step back in order to focus on health, to find balance, and to begin the next chapter of our story. While the business itself may change, the spirit of Vehicle Vault — the friendships, the memories, and the community we’ve built together — will always remain.”

If you’re hoping to purchase the property, it will cost you. An online listing for the 4.09-acre property shows it priced at $9.7 million.

The museum is open from Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online here.
