DENVER (KDVR) — A shelter-in-place was issued in Aurora on Sunday evening, according to a post on X from the Aurora Police Department.
Aurora police provided an update that the suspect is in custody, and the shelter-in-place is lifted after the area was swept.
The shelter-in-place was issued for residents in the area near the 17600 block of East Mansfield Avenue.
The APD SWAT Team was executing a warrant for a wanted fugitive who had barricaded themself inside a residence.
Negotiators were at the scene.
