DENVER (KDVR) — A crash has closed part of southbound Interstate 25 near Lone Tree on Tuesday afternoon, the city of Lone Tree posted on X.
The crash occurred near Ridgegate Parkway around 3:30 p.m. and involved multiple vehicles, according to the city.
The two left lanes of southbound I-25 will remain closed for investigation and delays are expected for several hours, the city said.
Emergency crews are at the scene. A view from SkyFOX shows two left lanes blocked off, with a firetruck and law enforcement vehicles on the scene, as well as miles of traffic delayed on the interstate.

Drivers are encouraged to find alternate routes while crews are on the scene of the crash. The city said the closure and delays are expected to last for several hours.
According to the Colorado Department of Transportation’s online COtrip tool, a delay of around 20 minutes is expected as of 4:15 p.m.
