What to know: Last day to mail in your ballot for the Colorado Coordinated election

DENVER (KDVR) — The vast majority of Coloradans vote either by mail or by using a ballot box, but election officials want Coloradans to know the deadline for mail-in ballots is Monday.

While Election Day is more than a week away, the deadline to mail in your ballot is Oct. 27 to give time to ensure the mail-in votes are counted.

Each county is going to have something different on the ballot, some include city council elections, school boards and other ballot measures.

With this election, the Secretary of State’s office is sending a message to be aware of misinformation and to use only trusted sources when seeking information about the election. Adding there are scams aimed at spreading some of this misinformation and swaying voters.

Election disinformation is a political tool used to undermine our democracy and divide our nation. Coloradans should use trusted sources for election information, including GoVoteColorado.gov and their County Clerk’s Office
