DENVER (KDVR) — A man died Monday after a concrete truck ran him over in Brighton, according to the Brighton Police Department.
Police initially reported the incident on Facebook Monday, saying they were investigating a “serious crash” involving a cement truck. On Tuesday, police confirmed the deadly incident happened Monday at around 11 a.m. at 2145 East Crown Prince Blvd.
Officers were dispatched to that address, which is the address of Wells Concrete, after reports that a concrete truck had run over a co-worker. When they arrived, they found a 30-year-old man unconscious and another performing CPR.
The crash happened on commercial private property while both the victim and the driver were working, police said.
The driver of the concrete truck did stay at the scene and was cooperative with officers. He showed no signs of impairment, police said.
